Tech Conclave 2.0 – The Second Ignition

Hi geeks and hello world!

In an express episode in May, I revealed to you that I’ve moved from Davao City, Philippines to Singapore to look for opportunities which I successfully did. I also mentioned that time that I was still adjusting with the new environment and job situation.

After the three-month “honeymoon period” of living and working in Singapore, everything feels normal now with my new urban lifestyle. This stage paves the way for me to get back on things I used to do – most favorably now that I live in the heart of a global city. I’m closer than ever from the major I.T. centers where all the tech events in this country take place.

Today, I am in the position to announce the start of Tech Conclave 2.0 – the second ignition of the shows you loved. The life of Tech Conclave is sustained by its highly-motivated tech correspondents and the three tech shows they produce: the Tech Conclave Global Geek News Patrol, the Tech Conclave Express Edition, and the Tech Conclave Audio Podcast. There will be major changes in the upcoming weeks to these shows as I implement new standards and welcome new processes that will keep the goodness of the past at the same time embrace new, unexplored ideas that may usher Tech Conclave to a higher level. I will also allocate money to improve the Tech Conclave’s hardware setup which will happen beginning next month.

Here are the gradual changes I’m excited to see in the upcoming weeks and later this year.

• One Global Geek News Patrol show every month.
• At least two Express Edition episodes per week.
• New tech correspondents and writers: more active tech news section and blog.
• New Tech Conclave Audio Podcast host who will replace Michael Bowie.
• New hardware: New lavalier microphone and a possible extra monitor for enhance my video editor tools for Tech Conclave this week.
• New hardware: New camera/video HD camcorder in the next 30 days.
• New hardware: Faster video editing laptop in the next 60 days.
• Find sponsors who can provide us a wireless lapel microphone, video lightings and a green screen stand.
• Cover the I.T. / tech shows happening around Singapore.
• Record episodes outdoors.
• Tweaks and design improvements with the Tech Conclave website.
• Tech Conclave Second Encounter in Singapore with a tech correspondent from the United Kingdom.

So just stay there and stay awesome!
