Samsung’s first tablet will be available to all major carriers, major physical stores, as well as major online retailers, although the tablet’s price is yet to be unveiled.

Simon Stanford, managing director of mobile at Samsung UK and Ireland said, “The Samsung Galaxy Tab brings a very unique proposition to the tablet market and from 1 November, gives consumers the ultimate connectivity and portability that they have been waiting for.”

The Samsung Galaxy Tab runs Google Android 2.2. Froyo operating system and features a seven inch capacitive touchscreen.

It’s also powered by a 1 GHz Hummingbird CPU with an inbuilt graphics accelerator, 16 Gigabytes internal memory, and has a 512 Megabytes RAM.

Unlike the iPad, it has a 3.2 MP autofocus camera that captures photos and videos and a microSD slot for extended storage.

Samsung Galaxy Tab also features a telephony function which includes 3G video calls.

It also offers support for proper multitasking, Bluetooth version 3, and can run Adobe Flash.

It is a smart touch screen phone that boasts a five-megapixel auto-focus camera letting you to easily capture and add high quality images and video to your gallery. It has 3.2-inch TFT-LCD display with a screen resolution of 320×480 pixels for sharp and bright viewing.

The phone will also be the first phone to run Adobe Flash, allowing you to fully access websites loaded with animation and flash content. The T-Mobile new smartphones will also be the first phone to run Adobe Flash, allowing you to fully access websites loaded with animation and flash content.

The HTC Hero will be available in seven different colors including black, white, yellow, pink, gold, ted and turquoise. The HTC will make its debut with the European market in July, followed by Asia and the US, later in 2009. However there were no details on price or availability of the HTC Hero yet.
