For A Tech Conclave Video Editor Rig
Update: The fund raising is currently suspended because it is unlikely that we will not reach our goal by December 2009. However, we’re still working on getting a new and faster system with the funds that we’ve accumulated. If you’d still like to donate and support Tech Conclave, you can do so through our Support page.
Help raise funds for a good Tech Conclave video editing rig and escalate the show. Here’s a message from our news anchor and founder, John Raul Joven II.
Hi avid viewers and fans of Tech Conclave. I’ve launched a fund raising campaign on this website through the Chip-In widget that you see in the sidebar. The target date is December 2009.
As you can see, I have always aimed to make Tech Conclave episodes appear professional as possible. However, as I have mentioned in our Setup page, my current system is really limiting that. It’s very slow when I work with graphics and videos and even though it appears like it does the job, it does things painfully as my system is not meant for video editing.
If you’re into video editing or you have experienced working on videos or 2D/3D graphics, I’m sure you can understand how serious my burden is. Please help me raise money to buy a good video editing laptop and escalate the show’s visual quality and frequency. I have chosen to pick a laptop because Tech Conclave might go mobile one day and I might travel to different places to record video and edit them on the fly.
I sincerely solicit from your heart because my income is very low and I cannot afford to buy acquire a new and faster system. In fact, last year I desperately tried to join an HP contest in hopes of winning a faster computer but I did not win. You can watch my video entry here to know my situation.
If there will be a circumstance that I will acquire a faster system prior to the goal (like encountering an unanticipated sponsorship or winning a contest), the accumulated money will be used for other things needed for Tech Conclave or return it back by running giveaway contests.
When you decide to donate and you wish your name to be listed below, please contact me and I will publish your name immediately on this website with a link to your website if you have any. I can also reciprocate you by letting you experience my services and IT skills if you are building a website or marketing something.
Thank you very much for your support.
