Hi there everyone,

My Name is Tom and I am a film student here in the United Kingdom.

I have many geeky passions,
My first love is making my own short films. I dont get chance to make many nowadays as i am busy learning how to make them better, (well that is the idea :P)

My second passion is computers. I enjoy learning how they work and making my own. I even worked in a computer shop for two weeks to gain experience on their workings and how to repair them. I have not made my own custom build in a while as I now chose laptops instead. Mainly for their portability and convenience.

I currently have in-front of me my Apple MacBook Pro (Unibody). There was not so long ago a time where I did not like the Macintosh platform, I would much rather be with Windows XP on a Sony Vaio, I made the change to Mac because of what I read and heard from friends about the reliability of the Mac operating system, Mac OS X. When you are in the middle of a film project, putting in effects here and cutting there, the last thing you need is a system crash and I am pleased to say that the Mac platform has lived up to its expectations.

(And also I dont think I have seen a better looking laptop to date :P )

I hope to one day be in a job doing something I enjoy, that is my main aspiration.

Enjoy Life, Enjoy Technology.

Hahaha! Tom, thanks for introducing yourself. I can remember you indicated that you advocate for Windows before on your YouTube profile (correct me if I'm wrong), now winds change and you go for Mac. Well, we all advocate for it. I'm still just a PC because I can't afford a Mac yet.  ;D

Hey Tom!

Nice to meet you, hopefully all of us can engage in a Skype Chat one of these days, I look forward to getting to know you, as for the Mac part, I agree that Macs are god, personally, only for Audio and Video editing and rendering and so fourth, nice talking to you!
