Facebook and Twitter To Join Forces, Unleash Cross-Platform Updates

A question-and-answer item found in Facebook’s Developers page about its new Subscribe feature reveals that the company will soon allow Twitter updates directly from Facebook. This could spell as another bad news for Google+ which web traffic is declining in the recent weeks.

Facebook will now allow its 750 million registered users to post updates on both its platform and Twitter at the same time. This move will provide more content to Twitter, a social platform of 100 million active users.

To enable Twitter updates via Facebook, the user needs to go to facebook.com/twitter and link the profile page to the Twitter account.
