Express 1 – "Windows 8" Operating System Looms

Windows 8 Operating SystemOn October 22, 2009, Microsoft released the Windows 7 operating system worldwide, the widely-expected remedy to the company’s former ill-fated Windows Vista operating system.

Windows 7 since then enjoyed higher sales than any of its predecessors’ releases.

Steve Ballmer, the CEO of Microsoft, said that they’ve already sold twice as many units of Windows 7 than any other Windows operating system they’ve ever launched. He said that Windows 7 is the best OS Microsoft has ever built.

Meanwhile, information about Microsoft’s next major operating system suggests that it will be released sometime in 2012. Codenamed "Windows 8," the details appeared in two roadmap timeline slides shown by Microsoft at 2009 Professional Developers Conference (PDC).

PDC is an annual Windows software developers conference that usually takes place in Los Angeles, California.

According to a separate information leaked by an employee, Windows 8 will feature or support 128 bit architecture.

Hey I like these short ones! They fill in that gap.

Great job on the editing too.

I always wait for MS to take a lul in OS updates and upgrades before I purchase the latest OS. Like I did Vista, which was good from all the horror stories I’ve heard about it.

If Windowz 7 is so great, what the hell do we need Windblows 8 already for?

    Greed I presume.
